September 2008 Teaspoon Gala Report
A small group of swimmers from Rotherham Metro took part in the above gala at Ponds Forge on the 21 September. All the events were 50m sprints and the gala is highly competitive with entries from all over the UK. Despite this, four of our swimmers managed to win one of the coveted teaspoons, so here are their results.
Charlotte Pearson came first in the Butterfly with a time of 31.99 and third in the Freestyle, in a time of 30.58
Bethany Woodcock came third in the Butterfly with a time of 36.97.
Matthew Sotheran came third in the Backstroke in a time of 37.38.
Josh Whitehurst came third in the Breaststroke in a time of 38.64
