Yorkshire Age Group Championships 2009
It was the most successful year yet for Rotherham Metro, at the Yorkshire Age Group Championships, held at the John Charles pool in Leeds and Ponds Forge, Sheffield between the end of February and beginning of March.
The club attained 26 top ten places and won a Gold medal, 2 Silvers and 2 Bronze. Here are the top ten finalists
Matthew Sotheran came 1st in 100m Free, 2nd in 100 Back, 4th in 200 Back and 1500 Free, 5th in 400 IM and 10th in 200 Breast
Holly Sotheran came 2nd in 400 IM, 3rd in 200 Back, 4th in 200 Fly, 200 IM, 6th in 400 Free and 200 Free and 9th in 200 Breast
Emily Shone came 3rd in 100 Back, 4th in 100 Breast, 7th in 200 Breast and 9th in 200 Back
Adam Parkes came 5th in 200 Back, and 100 Back then 7th in 200 Fly and 9th in 200 IM
Tom Gibbon was 7th in 200 Back and 9th in 200 IM
Katie Pollard was 6th in 200 Breast
Ben Cliff was 6th in 200 Breast and Josh Whitehurst was 5th in 100 Free
