Yorkshire Masters 2009
Rotherham Metro’s Masters swimmers took part in the Yorkshire Master’s Competition and won a wealth of medals.
Claire Shortt won gold medals in the 50 metres Back, 100 metres Freestyle, 50 metres Fly, 100 Individual Medley (IM), 50 metres Breast and Silver in the 50 metres Freestyle.
Keith Godbehere won Gold in the 50 metres Freestyle, 200 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 50 Fly and 100 IM.
Mick Pepper won Silver in the 100 Fly and then Bronze in the 100 Freestyle and 50 Fly.
Helen Turner won Silver in the 100 Breast and Bronze in the 100 Freestyle and 50 Fly.
Sarah Dawes won Bronze in the 50 metres Breaststroke.
Masters Coach Pete Roebuck said “I am really pleased with how well the swimmers have done, congratulations to them all!”.
